“Will Wooton, CADC, has established himself as one of the top clinicians treating Adolescent Chemical Dependency in southern California over the last decade. Now he has written a book that establishes him as one of the top authors. Bring Your Teen Back From The Brink is a comprehensive yet concise work that very clearly outlines how to approach our teenaged children and drug/alcohol use. Parents, therapists, and doctors need to have this book in their library. Every sentence has practical, clinical value and written in a very comfortable, easy-to-read style. Over the last decade I have referred many patients, colleagues, friends, and family to Will. In each case I have been extremely pleased with his approach to patient care and the tremendous and positive impact of his treatment program. This book will make parents more sophisticated in prevention and recognition of drug abuse and in implementing intervention strategies when problems are identified. This should be required reading for parents of pre-teenage and teenage children.”

This book succeeds in outlining the effective elements necessary to help loved ones deal with teen alcohol and drug issues. You’ll learn the associated games, manipulations, feelings, and behaviors of users and helpful ways to respond without enabling. The authors integrate stories from young people and parents that make this an informative as well as interesting read. Highly recommended!
